News What.s On

The end of Junior Block 2 is fast approaching and the summer is hopefully here to stay! Starting from Friday the 17th, begins a weekend of fun that you wont want to miss. We can offer our club members social sailing, space for BBQ-ing and camping, plus a Junior & Novice Regatta on the Saturday then normal Club Racing on Sunday.

(Sign-Up Form not mandatory, just helpful!)

Please let us know if you are hoping to camp and/or looking to borrow a club boat(s) for the event using THIS FORM. This helps us plan for numbers and resolve any club boat issues in the upcoming weeks.

  • Friday 17th – Last Junior Training evening as its the end of Block 2 and start of the school summer holidays. Social sailing available for most of the day. BBQ’s will be lit in the evening, but very informal bring your food, drink, set-up etc. Set up your camping spot for the rest of the weekend!
  • Saturday 18th – Junior and Novice Regatta. Please read the document below for more details. This event is open to all club members and the Training Team will be running the day. There will be experienced members available to support your racing. After the event there will be a short prize-giving, then social sailing plus more BBQ opportunities into the evening.

Aim to pack up all camping equipment etc. by the late evening. Social sailing available during the day (but please keep away from the race course) and also after the racing in the afternoon.

We hope to see lots of you there over the weekend! If you have any further questions please speak to the Training Team. If you haven’t seen it already, one of our Junior Assistant Instructors -George- has done some more drone footage for us. Linked below on the Club’s YouTube Channel:
